Role

As DM, the current world — including its painted/uploaded terrain images — is shared automatically when players join; use Push world after big changes. Players need only open the link and Join: nothing to download or install. Pins and the clock sync live.

3D settlement maps — place buildings, roads, plots, and link buildings down to interiors.

New 3D interior / dungeon plots (blank or generated), or import a map image to trace over. Make one standalone, or link it to a settlement building or a map pin.

Click the button, then click the map to drop a pin. Click any pin to edit, delete, or link a sub-map.

Tip: use the 👁 on each item below to hide/show it — handy for sorting through complex, overlapping paths.

Show roads

Snap to grid

Only has an effect while a grid is active in the Grid tab.

Draw filled territories or border lines. Switch to Select/Edit and click a shape to rename, recolor, or drag its corner points.

Underground Passages

Tunnels & caverns, drawn with the same pen as roads — drag to sketch, double-click or Enter to finish. Edit, extend, branch, merge & add depth points from the passage's info card (click it). Mark depth along it with the 🕳 Depth tool below.

Depth ft

With the tool on, click along a passage (or anywhere) to drop a depth label at that value (negative = below surface). Click a label to change or remove it.

Factions own settlements, pins, territories & trade routes. Assign one on a pin or territory (in its edit panel) to colour it by allegiance.

Each faction has its own view of the others (rows see columns). Click a cell to set its stance & strength. The most pointed side draws a line between capitals on the map.

Click pins in sequence (endpoints snap to them); drop waypoints in between. Double-click or Enter to finish, Esc to cancel.

Auto-links your settlements into one network: land routes follow your roads, sea lanes cross open water, and towns with no path are left out. Replaces previously generated routes; hand-drawn ones are kept.

Adds an image as a positioned patch on this world. Pick a file, then drag its pink corner handles to resize or drag its body to move it.

A world heightmap — the source of real 3D terrain & hillshade. Generate one, import a grayscale height image, or sculpt by hand. Turn on 3D relief (World tab) to see it, and tilt the map.

Mold the land in a live 3D view (raise/lower/smooth + paint biomes); the map's relief updates when you're done.

Navigate animates the party along the route; faster travel modes cover it quicker and advance the clock less. The party keeps its final position when you stop.

Weather radar & cloud cover

Zoom in for the storm radar (cells & fronts); zoom out to orbit for cloud cover. Both drift as you advance the clock, scale with the season, and thicken over ocean/forest (thin over desert).

Weather detection needs a painted terrain world — biomes are inferred from terrain brush colors, so custom images and real Earth have nothing to classify from.

Biome legend

Paint an arcane-energy heat map — strongest where you paint, radiating out and fading at the edges. Overlapping strokes build the energy up. Good for ley lines, wild-magic zones, wards, and dead-magic areas.
